We consider 30 percent of net salary spent on rent as the housing affordability threshold. Rent figures use maximum values of existing rents of standard residential dwellings for each OMI zone. Utilities are not included. Net salaries were calculated by deducting income tax from gross table salaries of workers with 10 years of experience and entry-level workers.
